The process
Made by
hand.
Six steps. Two days. One of one.

no machines. just hands & time.
- 01
Prep
Heavyweight 220gsm cotton blanks are pre-washed to strip factory finish, so dye bites deep into every fibre.
- 02
Fold & bind
Each tee is twisted, crumpled, pleated or spiralled by hand, then locked tight with bands. This is where the pattern is born.
- 03
Dye
Fibre-reactive dye goes on by squeeze bottle, by bath, or melted slowly over ice. Reverse-dye pieces have colour pulled out instead.
- 04
Cure
Pieces rest for up to 24 hours so the dye fully bonds. Patience is what keeps the blacks black.
- 05
Rinse & print
Rinsed until the water runs clear, washed, dried — then hand-printed or painted for our printed pieces and heat-set.
- 06
Check & pack
Every tee is inspected, folded and packed by the person who made it. Then it heads across Nairobi to you.
Care for your piece
Wash cold, inside out, with darks. Skip the bleach. Hang to dry out of direct sun — and it'll stay deep for years.
